1. Go to the Public Library for Union County’s website: http://www.publibuc.org/
2. Click on the Power Library icon
3. It will ask you to type in your number. You will find this number on the back of your public library card. Type the entire number in and click Submit.
4. Here you will be able to find your database.
5. Click on Ebscohost (for magazine articles)
6. Ebscohost Web
7. Choose some databases by checking the boxes at the left
8. Click continue
9. Make sure you click the box “full text” or you will get abstracts as well as articles
10. Type in your search terms, and click search
11. Click on the blue titles, html full text link, or pdf full text link
12. Summaries are included, including the # of pages and everything you need for citations.
13. Play around using different databases, or even choosing something other than Ebscohost from the first Power Library page.
